Top 5 Travel and Local Apps on Android in Turkey, Q3 2022

During the third quarter of 2022, the top 5 travel and local apps on the Android platform in Turkey showcased varying performance trends in terms of weekly downloads and active users, as reported by Sensor Tower.

MARTI: TAG & Scooter saw a fluctuation in weekly downloads, peaking at approximately 64.3K during the week of July 11. However, the app experienced a gradual decline towards the end of the quarter, with downloads dropping to about 28.6K in the last week of September. Weekly active users followed a similar trend, starting at 215.8K at the beginning of the quarter and decreasing to 201.7K by the end.

obilet: Otel Uçak Otobüs Araç experienced a significant peak in weekly downloads around mid-July, reaching approximately 68.4K. Despite this peak, downloads settled to about 32.6K by the end of September. The app's weekly active users showed a mixed trend, starting at 454.3K and ending at 308.3K.

BinBin had a notable increase in weekly downloads early in the quarter, peaking at around 53.6K in the week of July 11. Towards the end of September, downloads had decreased to approximately 21.7K. Weekly active users also saw a rise in early July to 158.5K, before declining to 121K by the quarter's end.

TCDD Taşımacılık Eybis maintained relatively stable weekly downloads, with a slight peak of about 36.5K in late June and a dip to around 24.9K by the end of September. Active users showed a similar stable trend, starting at 97.9K and ending at 78.9K.

Museums of Türkiye had weekly downloads peaking at approximately 46.4K in mid-July, with a gradual decline to about 14.8K by the end of September. Weekly active users also saw a peak at 65.7K in early July, decreasing to 26.8K by the quarter's end.
